Women on Top is going on a trip to the seaside!
For our seaside version of one of our favourite events, we’re combining business with the beautiful outdoors, and will be interspersing networking, inspirational talks and coaching, with gentle exercise and seaside salty air, encouraging us all to find balance and & putting the blue sky into blue sky thinking!
Join us for the morning of this full-day event at the Marine Hotel, beginning with breakfast & gentle movement and breath work with good egg Katy Wakefield from Move Yoga Studio through to late afternoon gin tasting.
The key speaker for this event is Emma MacDonald, Co-Founder and CEO of TBCo (formerly The Tartan Blanket Co). After moving back to Edinburgh from London, Emma noticed a real lack of natural, sustainable, well-designed textiles for the home in the market. Combining Emma’s fashion knowledge and her husband Fergus’ tech knowledge the couple merged these talents and the business was born with the creation of their first recycled wool blanket!
We can’t wait to speak to Emma about running a business with sustainability at its core having very recently become a certified B-Corp business. Opening a brick-and-mortar space as an e-commerce business, working with influencers on collections, the design process and much more!
The morning will include breakfast, a gentle stretch and breath session to manage stress and overwhelm, Emma’s talk and time to make connections, this Women on Top is one not to be missed!
